RINGNETBALL

Ringnetball (Polish: Pierścieniówka) is a traditional Polish game inspired by fishermen throwing buoys through nets. It’s played by two mixed-ability teams (4–6 players per side), aiming to throw a volleyball through one of three holes in a central net, making it land on the opponent’s court. Players may pass the ball up to three times and can throw with any body part. Each team must include two seated players (e.g., in wheelchairs) to ensure inclusivity. The game promotes integration, physical activity, and teamwork. It can be adapted with sound cues, bright colors, or rule adjustments to support players with physical, visual, or intellectual disabilities.
