Webinar as part of the Erasmus+ Sport Project: “Dis+Abled” Sport

On February 18th, on the ZOOM platform, a local webinar was held, introducing the participants to the main assumptions, goals and activities in the international Erasmus+ Sport Project „Dis+Abled SPORT – sports and games designed to be played by people with physical & visual disabilities alongside with able-bodied; an innovative approach to increase Social Inclusion and Equal Opportunities in Sport”, implemented by START Association, together with Partner organizations from Croatia, Czech Republic and Italy.
Especially, the main results of the Project were presented, which will be very useful for the integration of people with disabilities with able-bodied people through joint participation in sports:
1. Draft of the Good Practices Manual – that will contain the descriptions of approx. 40 Paralympic, traditional and recreational games and sports (the rules of the games, together with possible adaptations to the needs of people with disabilities).
2. Instructional films – examples of films, showing the course of the games and sports (an additional material, facilitating the understanding of the rules of these games).
After the Project is completed, all the materials will be available free of charge on the official Project website: www.disabled-erasmus.org
